This is the unassuming exterior of Dave Churchman's self-proclaimed "Boutique de Junk". His warehouse is sort of like the Willy Wonka's chocolate factory of letterpress. It's a crazy jumbled mess of everything letterpress related, and it's kind of magical. When I wrote Dave to set up a time to meet him, he wrote back telling me to bring cash, a flashlight, and to wear work clothes. It seemed almost ominous at the time. But Dave and his wife, Charlene, were almost disappointingly normal and nice.
This is new old oily waste can. I love how it looks. Below is some of the wooden type that I saw. Sadly, I wasn't able to get any this time. I had to get other supplies from Dave first...But that just means that I'll have to go back some time.
