I hit my hair-in-eyes threshold the other day and decided to take matters into my own hands. It looks kind of like those bangs with no end in sight that Cabbage Patch Kids from the early 80's wore...but Kari said that it looked kind of elvish, which made me feel a little better.

there i days when I take matters in my own hands and cut my own hair too, at least the parts where I can see. i often end up regretting but I never learn. i'm sure you still look lovely.
i appreciate the lord of the rings and cabbage patch kids references. good combo. congrats on the big 1000!
i tried to cut my bangs the other day too, but i got chicken and didn't go any further. i like what you did. i've actually seen those bangs on other girls and really liked them. looks like you did a bang-up job. hahaha...man, i kill me.
hi eva! love your blog! congratulations on your 1000! you guys are in my tippety-top of favorites.
you are so funny!I am diggin' the artsy "abandoned hair" pic too not to mention your new 'do. I can very much relate to the title of this post...let's just say my mom had to hide the sissors from me in high school.
congrats on 1000!
if you want me to come over and "trim up" your bangs, i'd be happy to help. you know, with my great bangs-cutting track record and everything...
um...that's okay becca:) but really -- your bang cutting job was beautiful compared to the highlighting job i once did on a friend. bleach is a scary thing.
Eva, you have solidly outgrown any Cabbage Patch associations. Elvish is one word, bohemian hipster is another. I vote for the latter.
