The rodeo and the demolition derby were pretty fun.
Fireworks, motorcycle tricks, fancy cowgirls, bull riding, cars crashing into each other and catching on fire, people watching galore...
I loved the rainbow assortment of cars in the derby. Each one had words scrawled across its dented metal frame -- things like "Mom, Dad, Tracy, Cody" or "Timp Tavern" and "Wasatch Auto Parts". Maybe next year we'll sponsor a car. I'd do it just to see the big, messy, spray painted letters spell out "Sycamore Street Press".
