Did you see Julie & Julia? Kirk and I did...and we LOVED it. (Although we do wish there was a bit more of Julia and a bit less of Julie.) We loved Julia Child's unapologetic love for eating (and cooking), her appreciation of all things French, and most of all -- the way she truly lived life with gusto. I'd like to think that the latest print from the Sycamore Club* embodies some of those same characteristics.
Our very own Kirk Jorgensen is the artist for this print. Now, maybe I'm biased (I am married to the guy), but I think that it's one of my favorites. Am I allowed to say that? Well, I just did. Click here to see more photos or to purchase Kirk's print.

Hi Eva and Kirk. What a fab print! My favourite food is Eggs Benedict. Or a really good steak (rare, ideally with fries and bearnaise sauce - mmm). I think Eton Mess might be my fave pudding. Or a really crisp-topped creme brulee. I could go on...!

what a wonderful print! i have a hard time picking a favorite food because i enjoy eating as much as julia did! but if i had to choose, i would say my mom's homemade corn pudding.

My favorite type of food is soup. I can eat pretty much any kind, but am a sucker for my mother's mushroom soup and her pickle soup (these are 2 different soups, fyi! I don't think a combo would turn me off of soup completely!)
So hard to pick one thing! Artichoke dip! Yam fries! Chicken wings! Cupcakes! I'm all about appies and desserts!

my favorite food is my grandmother's chicken and onions....basically roasted chicken on a bed of juicy carmelized onions. and take the onions and put it on some crusty bread w/ a nice sprinkle of salt. (and my hubby is making it for dinner this evening!)

That print is adory! I'm a bit ashamed to say that my favorite food is gravy. White, brown, onion, mushroom, whatever! It's usually the deciding factor between two items on a menu. Heck, I'd eat a boot if it had gravy on it.

i love burgers in all forms, but my most favorite, is the juicy all-beef patty i get at my fav restaurant. it's layered on a fluffy & fresh, just out-of-the-oven bun, and topped with goat cheese, roasted red peppers and homemade guac! mmmm!

As always what a fabulous print. I'm still trying to decide what my favourite food is....some kind of pasta dish I think with a tomato sauce, olives, meatballs or maybe a good salad or grilled chicken. Oh such a hard question to answer.
I always believed chocolate should be it's own food group, and for that reason, and because in my world it IS included in the food pyramid, my fav food is CHOCOLATE. And now I need to go across the street and buy some peanut M&M's....
