giveaway: New Limited Edition Print by Jamie Tallerico

If you are familiar with
Sycamore Street Press, then you'll know that we collaborate with a different artist each month to bring you a limited edition letterpress print. We print one edition of 100 prints and that's it. We will never reprint them. They're available for individual purchase, or at a discount as part of a subscription. We call this project the Sycamore Club. Click here to see all the prints we've made for it so far.

This month's rodeo themed artwork is by the talented graphic designer, Jamie Tallerico. I love the subdued retro colors, and I can totally picture this print in a little boy's room, a home with vintage 50's inspired decor, a rustic cabin, etc.... Click here to find out more about the artist and the print, or to see more photos.

To enter the giveaway, comment below and tell me what you (or your kids) are going to be for Halloween. I'll choose a winner at random next Monday, November 2nd. (In case you are interested, I am going as Tonya Harding, and Kirk will be himself. He's not the costume type.)

i've been trying to talk davis into dressing up as the mac and pc guys from the commercials, but he's not a dress up type guy. i'll have to come up with something for myself. (and quick!)

I think my boyfriend and I have narrowed it down---I'm going as a spoon/spork and he's going as a tv dinner.

Not sure what I am going to be for Halloween. May be too busy to go to any parties, so I may be a lame ol' student celebrating with my books!

I'm going as an over-worked, exhausted resident (I'm on call!). But I would love to win this for my father in law, a former rodeo guy!

My daughter is going as a ladybug this year. Last year we announced to everyone we were pregnant with her by going as a baker and an oven with a bun in it. :)

my girls are going to be blueberry fairy queens! My 7 yr old took inspiration from Peter In Blueberry Land & The Flower Fairies and added the queen part because wearing a crown is the greatest thing ever.
i just finished them up and they are impossibly adorable!

love the print! wonderful color combo.

My 3 year old wanted to be a princess while her daddy wanted her to be a cowgirl so they compromised and she is a cowgirl with a tutu. My 8 month old is Pebbles off of the Flinstone's since her hair sticks straight up.

I love that print, it reminds me of my husband in his rodeo days.

I will be going as fake spray tan dude - which I'm hoping people won't mistake me as an Oompah Loompah.

What an awesome print! It would be perfect in my boys' bedroom that I am redoing since they are hitting their preteen years.

My kids are going as giant Ugly Dolls! They look like giant stuffed dolls walking down the street.

Love this print, I have been obsessed with the rodeo since my ex boyfriend and i stayed on his farm in nebraska for a month and followed the rodeo circuit, his grandad had been a clown in the rodeo, too cool!
BF and i are going as zombied mccain and palin!

my kids won't be dressing up this year - as we're spending our halloween out of town with relatives -

but i did buy all the material to make my oldest daughter a corn on the cob suit and my baby a candy corn dress... so that's what they'll be next year.

thanks for a great giveaway!

We are using the tiny poncho and sombrero we got from the Mexican side of my wife's family to dress our 16 month old up as a little Mexican. My wife and I are going as border patrol agents.

My fourth month old is going to
"super-cute man". My mother made him a onsie with a lightning bolt and a cape.

Loving all the new prints in your etsy shop. Well, they may not be new, but I haven't wandered over there in a bit. Anyhow, I'm going as the swine flu, or H1N1 (it's an "H" themed Hallowe'en party).

Every year, my friends and I have found ourselves with the reputation as "the scariest house on the block". Not because the decorations are particularly scary, but because it looks unassuming and all the kids come up to the door like normal. Last year was great. When the kids turned to leave, my husband came out in full Jason outfit, mask complete, and chainsaw (blade removed, of course)and fired it up behind the kids. The funniest part about the whole thing is that he asks permission from the parents at the curb to scare their kids and every time the dads are all about it. SO FUNNY! We've got some new tricks up our sleeve this year and are looking forward to it.

My children think they have outgrown
trick or treating! My husband; however, dresses up to hand out
the goodies to the children!
This year, he is wearing a Gumby
head and tee shirt! Our dog will accompany him as a cow.
Many thanks, Cindi
