sound + vision: Letterpress on 1970's Sesame Street



Our press is a lot more basic than the one in this video...we hand crank each and every sheet through. But it gives you a general idea for the process.

And I love the idea of printing a child's drawing. We'll have to give that a try.

ha! i actually remember watching this one! it was always so relaxing for me - like when mr. rogers went to the crayon factory. just love them.

the idea to use a kid's drawing is a good one. and how cool and stylized was the dog drawing?

Aw, I remember this like it was yesterday! But it's been so long--I didn't even realize that this was my first introduction to letterpress. :)
