When I taught intro level art classes at the university, there were always some students there just because they needed the credits. A couple of them even asked me if they could leave class early so they could watch a TV show. What!?
Not so with the letterpress workshops we teach here in the Sycamore Street Press studio. Our students are enthusiastic and eager to learn. They're here because they want to be. And I think it's a great change of pace for everyone -- me and Kirk included. We have so much fun!
A very big thank you to all our students. We hope to keep these classes going for a long, long time.

Oh, I wish I could have signed up for this one! I'll have to wait until winter is over, so I can be sure to make the drive!
it is my goal to make it to one of these before i leave vancouver.
Leave class early?!?!? I'd be asking if I could stay late!
