I've been around long enough to know that I'm extremely lucky to have married into a wonderful, funny, loving, easy going family like the Jorgensens. Today marks exactly 6 years since Kirk and I exchanged vows and I became an official member of the clan.
The truth is, I would have married Kirk no matter what his family was like. He's that great. And more. But the fact that they're such lovely people made the deal that much sweeter. Thanks! I love you all! (But most especially you, Kirk.)
(Kirk's oldest two siblings and their families weren't around for the game of bocce when I took these photos, but they are of course included in the above sentiments.)

How sweet! And yes, I think you are lucky when you've found such a nice family-in-law: it's definitely not something to take for granted when you feel really at home with them, quite often it's different! (won't start about mine! ;))
