This post comes at a very strange time for me, as its exactly what has been on my mind all week. I don't want to covet my ideas, but I feel like they're being used by someone close to me, to their advantage. I love to share.....but when you feel like all you material is just being regurgitated, it makes you want to grasp it all back and share no more. A feeling I definitely am not comfortable with. Thank you, Mrs Jorgensen, for posting this as your quote of the week. I think its made me realise what I'm supposed to do.
Bella - That's happened to me as well...and I definitely thought of it when I read this quote, and had to wonder for a bit if I completely agreed with this quote. While I don't think that we should let people plunder us blindly, there's a lot to be said for not wasting our energy on it and instead moving on to the next idea. I have yet to find the perfect balance, but I am working on it. And I do think that if we have a very generous attitude about our information and ideas that we will receive more (creativity and inspiration) in return.

Eva - Thank you for replying. It's always good to know you're not on your own in these dilemmas. I definitely believe in karma. But then, I don't want to be a mug either! It's one thing being inspired by someone, but blatantly using someone's material as your own is well and truly wrong. Let's hope karma plays a role eventually. Thanks again.
