You are probably aware that there's a whole world out there of style blogs consisting of everyday people with the incredible creativity, consistency, and panache to post photos of their self-styled ensembles on a daily or weekly schedule. A couple that I look at from time to time are the Cherry Blossom Girl and the Style Rookie.... and as of this past month, Kitsch in Kindness.
I recently got in touch with an early childhood pal through that notorious site called Facebook. (And I mean early childhood. I think we were probably 4 years old the last time we saw each other in person!) She's a high school drama teacher, a singer, and a fashion junkie who puts together most outfits from her local LA thrift stores and second hand shops.
She'll be opening an Etsy shop soon full of clothes, patterns, and jewelry of her own creation. You can follow her blog if you'd like to be kept in the loop. I can't wait to see!
