My dear friend Zuzanna Audette with art + mary photography took some maternity photos for me a couple of months ago. She did such a fantastic job! And believe me, that is due completely to her skills and talent, because I've got to be one of the most awkward models ever. :) Anyways, I'm so happy with how they turned out. It'll be so nice to have these as a record of the time when Ingrid was growing and forming inside of me. I wish I had photos like this of my mom when she was pregnant with me.

I love that she convinced Kirk to be in some of the photos, too. She really put him at ease in front of the camera. Not an easy feat -- believe me.
Ingrid is due to arrive this coming Sunday, so the countdown is on! We moved this past weekend into our new live/work space, and I think she almost decided to come out right in the middle of all the action. That would not have been very good timing. It seemed like every time I bent over or walked a bit too briskly, I'd have a contraction... Luckily, I've been able to take it easier yesterday and today. I really want to hold out until Sunday, because my midwife is out of town until then. Wish me luck!

It's always so interesting to me which images a client likes best :) It was so wonderful to spend the afternoon that day with you guys, I miss you so much! I cannot WAIT to meet little Ingrid!
