Spring 2014 Paper Goods, Part 2

Spring 2014 Paper Goods, Part 2 | Sycamore

And now for part 2 of Minimal Bohemian (the Sycamore Street Press Spring 2014 line of paper goods)!

Although my inspiration for all 46(!) of our brand new products was the idea of Minimal Bohemian-ism, I separated them out into four smaller, more specific collections. I showed you the first one, the Indigo collection, the other day. Today, I’d like to introduce the Bright Brush collection.

Some of my specific sources of inspiration for this collection were: 1) the baby announcement we designed for Ashley Muir Bruhn’s baby girl, 2) French fashion house Céline, 3) childhood macaroni necklaces,  4) mid-century modern art & design, and 5) contemporary Australian design.

When working on this collection, I wanted the designs to be fun, bright, warm, and modern. I wanted them to be appropriate for baby showers, but versatile enough to be used for any occasion. (Other than the blue “Baby”, pink “Baby”, and “Bundle of Joy” greeting cards, which are obviously very specific.)

As with all of our goods, the Bright Brush collection was made with quality, sustainable materials in the USA. (Right here in the Utah mountains, to be exact.)

I hope you like them! Stay tuned for the inspiration behind 2 more brand new mini-collections…  – Eva
